M. C. Lilley & Co. Knights Templar Masonic Sword w/Scabbard - Id'd Steen

Description

Knights Templar Masonic Sword with Detailed Scabbard. The ricasso is marked "The M.C. Lilley & Co.", over "Columbus Ohio". The grip is tight but the crossguard does have a little wiggle. The etched blade has the name "Fredrick H. Steen" on it,
along with a several knights on horses and
scroll designs
all with gold in the background
. The blade is straight, unsharpened, the tip is a little sharp, and has a few spots of light surface rust. The scabbard is solid with no dents, there are spots of nickel loss (heaviest between the mounts), and it h
as "KA" with "6"
stamped three times once on the backside of each mount and the drag
. Leather washer is missing. Length of the blade measures 28 1/8" (3/4" wide x 3/16" thick), the sword alone is 34 7/8", and
overall length is 35 1/2
".
