* This trunk is in great condition.  The original handiwork is outstanding - thick, riveted leather, straps are intact and not broken (though fragile), interior boards are solid and unbroken, interior flap hinge undamaged and flap hardware works.
* We do not know what Post this member belonged to, or who E.W.B. was.
* There is no key.  The trunk lock hinge is open.
* The Henderson-Ames Co. "Read This" paper in tact and in excellent condition.
* Trunk has nostalgic pipe tobacco fragrance from the original owner!
